Volume replacement in the face tends to fall within the cheeks, jawline, chin and lips.
The changes include fat and bone loss, as well as shifting contours. The most common of these in women is the shift of the medial fat pad downward, creating a ‘jowl’. This is also accentuated by the loss of structure elsewhere that creates a harsher ‘drooping’ effect.

How we treat these concerns:
We start with choosing either polynucleotides or Profhilo Structura.

Polynucleotides are excellent at skin regeneration, giving a tightening effect and diminishes wrinkles. which gives a lovely restored youthful glow.
Profhilo Structura is more suited to those who have had a lot of mid-face volume loss and need a plumping and rejuvenating effect.

We allow a two-week interval for the skin to settle before our next session.

Then we can proceed to our next stage:
Firstly, we identify the zones which need structure or volume. We always take time to discuss the treatment plan with you and ensure you are comfortable with these decisions and confident in what your results will be.

Next, we map the face to show you where your ideal facial planes should sit (or had sat before these areas decreased in volume). Once we are mutually happy with this, we will treat the chosen areas to give a natural but more lifted and youthful appearance.
